WWST11 Ocean Spirit Festival:

It was an amazing event and just what the sport needs to be recognised along with other main stream surf events

Portugal:

Friendly place with nice relaxed summer feel

World waveski scene:

We need to grow numbers and exposure. I think we need to be partners in a bigger sport (canoeing) and host multi surf discipline surf contest like Ocean Spirit

Future perspectives:

Personaly, continue surfing to push my personal level and the sport, but not compete

Brazil 2013:

Will be good for the sport, but I do not intend to compete at this stage

Last words:

Ocean Spirit 2011 was an awesome event but did not allow us to showcase our best surfing due to the changing conditions, I hope it will continue to involve waveski surfing in the future as our sport needs this sort of exposure.. Well done to all especially the contest organisers who had to deal with trying conditions. Good luck to the organising committee in 2013.
